I do not think I have ever had s'mores in the past. I have had toasted marshmallows (I like them burnt) in the past, but have not even had those for many, many years.

I LOVE them! My kids do too. Also they are fun to make with other things, like Reese's PB cups instead of chocolate bars. Or Andies candies or flavored Marshmallows! They sell these fancy Marshmallows by Smash Mallow that have a bunch of flavors. I love the mint chocolate chip ones. They even have a Churro flavor. Thank you for reminding me of this! Because now I need to go get some and make them this weekend!

The boys and I like them. Dh does not. Our fireplace is wood burning, so lots of opportunities to make s’mores. We also make them around the fire out.

I like them. I've already had them this year, at a campout with my son's boys' group at church.

I love smores but I haven't had one in a couple years now.

I also love anything that's smores flavor.
I enjoy having the little smores granola bars from Quaker Chewy.
Of course they were part of the huge recall so I couldn't find them for like 8 months but I just bought some last week.

Never felt “right” eating them off the campsite where random insects flew into them, they fell on the ground, etc and you could see none of this because it was dark outside.
Doncha love camping⛺️ ? 😉

I know a lot of people see them as a fall thing, but I've always considered s'mores more of a summertime treat because you eat them around the fire at night when you go camping. Usually I make them with the leftover heat on the bbq grill in the summer, never make them in the fall. I don't have a backyard fire pit.

Now that we are empty-nesters, we don’t make fires like we used to in the past, so I’m not eating s’mores. Every Fall we would make a fire in the fire pit and cook hotdogs over the fire and make s’mores - we did this 2-3 times every Fall. Since we aren’t making fires anymore, I’m not eating s’mores, which is kind of a bummer.

Don't let being a empty-nester stop you from enjoying your fire pit (or even the hot dogs & s'mores! We'll be having a fire this evening and nary a grown up kid will be around :cool1: just the dogs, us & a bottle of wine.

To answer the question, Yes I like them. I usually only break out the ingredients when my 8 year old niece is over, and we've taken to just making chocolate chip cookies to use instead of gram crackers & chocolate bars.

I'm not a fan, but my kids are crazy for them! We always have marshmallows, graham crackers and hershey's chocolate bars on hand during the colder months so we can make them with the outdoor fireplace!

I have had them, but they were not a normal part of my life experience. They are kind of overpoweringly sweet for me, and given how much I love sweets, that is saying something.

I know, I just can't be bothered to drag all that stuff outside for just the two of us (that sounds so lazy I know - LOL!!) We really should get rid of the firepit since it's not used anymore.

We have a fire table with our patio furniture, that I will have turned on tonight while I'm watching TV outside. I wouldn't make smores over it though, because just my luck a marshmallow will fall off the stick and then all the gooey mess will get in the glass rocks - that would be very annoying - LOL!!
