What a quirky topic, I wonder how the OP thought about something like this. I only wear socks for three months out of the year here and the rest of the time it's Toms or Converse sans socks. I honestly think I don't have a set pattern. It's usually just a matter as to which shoe is closer to me, I guess.

After doing these polls, for as long as I’ve been doing them, I wonder how I’ve come up with half the topics I do a poll on They just come to me - sometimes out of the blue. I’ll be going about my day and all of a sudden I get an idea .

I have no idea. I have never paid attention. Now if I were to think about it, not sure the result would be the same as it was before I started paying attention.

Funny, because I have thought about this when putting on socks/shoes. Always left first. Socks then shoes. And I'm right handed.

I had to stop and think... I would be starting with the right, maybe because I am right handed.

I don't put them on in any foot order. I only wear socks in the dead of winter or when I'm working out. When I do wear them, I put the socks on both feet first then put the shoes on. As to whether I put on right or left first, it really just depends on which sock/shoe is closer to me at the time I'm putting them on or if I'm sitting down or standing up and whether my back hurts or not and which side of my back is hurting at the time.
