Our Kroger here in TX gets them in each year around Fat Tuesday. In fact, seeing the box in Slo's pic makes me think it's the same brand of Paczki we get here. I tried them last year and opted for lemon, as that's one of my favorite donut fillings. Truth be told, I did not like them. Maybe I've grown too fond of the heavily sugared donuts from chains here like Shipley, but there was something too savory in the dough and an almost bitter taste in the filling with the Paczki I bought. I'm trying to be good and we already had a king cake (which was not good...not that I every really love those either), so I'm done with Mardi Gras food for the year.

I love them, especially with raspberry filling, but won't be having one today. The big grocery stores don't seem to carry them anymore. There are two small Polish grocery stores that have them, but it's a little out of the way, so I won't have them this week. Normally, you can get them on Friday/Saturday, but this week the delivery was on Monday. I shouldn't have any trouble getting them next time I visit the Polish grocery on a weekend.

I’ve never had one nor seen them sold anywhere around here; not a big Polish community. I’d probably like them, I like donuts, but eat very limited sweets these days.

Same as last year, nope, none here. They just don't appeal to me. We are on grandson duty tonight so will be taking leftovers along for our dinner after he goes to bed. Not celebrating Fat Tuesday at all!

I had 2 for breakfast. Shh...

I was in Poland in December and I was on a hunt for Paczki and I found none. Very disappointed since I saw pictures on a FB group from Krakow that they were readily available. The key thing that the bakeries had were croissants that were filled with pistachio custard. They looked delicious, but I didn't have any of them.

We have donuts on Tuesday at work so maybe the person who brings them in will get jelly or custard filled donuts. That’s the closest I’ve had.

I am making a jambalaya like meal for dinner and listening to a Mardi Gras inspired playlist at work today.

How fun! We don’t have them in our area, but look and sound delicious. Enjoy!

I love Paczki and have been enjoying them throughout the past few weeks. Unfortunately they were out of Paczki on Sunday and I will not be anywhere I can get one today. I will however be getting rid of all the sweets in the house today in preparation for Lent, so it’s still Fat Tuesday here,

I live in a high Polish population region.
I've had them, I like them, I like raspberry ones with powdered sugar, I won't be having one today but I did over the weekend.

I special ordered from my csa. I got their maple bacon and the vanilla. They have more of a buttercream frosting in the middle compared to a custard or Bavarian cream. Mom didn't see the usual ones at the grocery but DH confirms his store have them in abundance. We'll see if mom ends up getting any others or the once I got will suffice just fine.

Definitely a big thing in Buffalo and I enjoy them, however working on losing a couple pounds right now so sadly won't partake.

I grew up in a town with a very big Polish population-the only Catholic church in town had a Mass said in Polish, and the best Polish Fair every May with all kinds of Polish food. Seeing the pictures of the Paczki makes me wish I were back there. Where I live now has virtually no foreign food. So if you're having one, please have an extra for me!

I had to change my vote to "yes" We stopped at the grocery store and they had a very tempting display. The raspberry paczki is very good. :)

Had one last week when our local bakery had fresh ones! I eat low net carb normally so it is a once yearly treat I love.

I’m here to confess…..I caved and ate the other one. I just couldn’t handle it staring at me from inside the box any longer.
