No Christmas Day poll tomorrow, so I’ll say Merry Christmas now. I hope you all have a blessed, safe and happy Christmas. Sending love and Christmas hugs to you all!

Christmas Eve is always one of my favorite days of the year, because it’s a very holy day. I look forward to going to 5pm Mass with my family, and this will be my 19th year Lectoring/reading at Christmas Eve Mass. I go to a large parish, and this Mass is standing room only when it starts. I love standing up on the alter, which is raised by about 6 steps, and looking out at a packed church. It’s a wonderful, happy and joyful vibe.
With it being Christmas Eve, it’s a good time to discuss about the nativiy(ies) we may have at home. There are so many different styles of nativities and they can be for indoors and outdoors. Some are large and some are very small. If you’re interested in more information about nativities, here ya go…..

I’m sure most of you already know about that, but I thought I’d post it anyway. So, now it’s time to let everyone know if you have a nativity at home, and if you do, how many do you have. So tell us today……
Do you have any nativities at home?
If yes…..how many do you have?
If yes…..is your nativity(ies) indoor or outdoor?
(multiple choice)
*Please post a picture(s) of your nativity(ies) for us all to see. I love seeing different nativities - I find them so beautiful and unique.
For Me……We have 4 nativities at our house. We have one outside that is a blow mold nativity. My DH has a manager that he builds for this every year. He designed it so he can take it down and store it every year. I have my Precious Moments nativity that is 35 years old. My DH built the manager for it and put a light in it. I have a Little People’s toy nativity that goes on the floor under the family room tree. This is now 28 years old. I bought it for my DD27’s first Christmas so she could play with it without breaking anything. It still goes under the tree even though we have no little children around. Lastly, I have a very very small nativity that sits under my Grandma’s table top fiber optic Christmas tree. One day we’ll have my mom’s and my in-laws nativities that are very old. I’m not sure where we’ll display those, but I’ll find a place - those are very special.
Below are pictures of my Precious Moments Nativity
I know, I know…..there was no snow where Jesus was born, but I like the way it looks.
