I don’t like sweet potatoes either.Basically all of them except sweet potato fries. Not a fan of sweet potatoes.
OMGosh….you’re totally right! Thanks to Sandy and her polls I think I'm ready for some fish & chips![]()
I do too, as a guilty pleasure. Love a good poutine when I can get it.I also like fries with "stuff." We're currently at a hotel in Louisiana due to the hurricane and I had fries covered with cheese and shrimp etouffee last night.
Depends on the place of course, but generally I agree. I grew up eating frozen crinkle fries as the standard. McD’s style are what I would call shoestrings, also sold frozen in supermarkets here. What you call "crinkle" is what I consider standard restaurant french fries.
What you call standard is what is sold in the grocery store as "fast food fries". This would be the thin fries sold by McDonalds and In and Out.
Agree, they are good. We use those when I'm too lazy to cut up a potato. Yeah, I have a really low bar. Honey, I don't feel like cutting up a bunch of vegs for a roast and do all that clean up. Hot dog and beer battered fries in the air fryer is almost as good ,right??????Voted for standard, waffle and crinkle but the only things on that list I wouldn't enjoy are the smiley and sweet potato fries.
BTW, I have made a recent discovery to share with y'all: McCain's beer battered fries. These are the best frozen french fries I've ever tried, I cooked them in the air fryer and they were outstanding. Doesn't matter if you don't like beer, they just taste like really delicious french fries.
