I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

Today is all about the deals for many people.
So…..

Are you Black Friday shopping today?
Are you shopping online or in a store?
Are you shopping for yourself or for gifts?
(multiple choice)

For Me……Yes, I’m shopping today, but only buying one item - it’s an Apple Watch for my DD20. I’m buying it for my mom to give DD as a Christmas gift. I do a lot of the grandparents shopping for the holiday.

I wasn't planning on it, no. I have a bit of extra money left in the bank though, so I might check out Amazon to see if there's a deal I can take advantage of for a couple of gifts.

No Black Friday shopping for me this year I’ve done it in years past but something I needed was on sale I wouldn’t hesitate to get it more than likely though I’d be doing it online
I hope everyone finds some really good deals!!!

Regular work day here in Canada, I'm not shopping. In recent years, advertising and sales for Black Friday have become more of a thing, but not to the point where anybody I know would take off work and go line up, or stalk on-line deals. Now Boxing Day, on the other hand...

Trying to do some before work, although a lot of places had the sales going almost all week,

My DD is getting ready to go to her job at the Mall here. She works in a clothing store. She's never experienced Black Friday at the mall.....May the odds be ever in her favor....

A mixture of both. I bought Christmas gifts for my mom and sister on Amazon and tonight we're all going to Disney Springs to shop for kids we picked for our local angel gift tree program. One kid wants anything Spiderman and the other kid wants anything Stitch so I think we'll be able to find something special for them.

I’ll be ordering a couple of things online today but will be doing in person shopping tomorrow to support small business Saturday

No Black Friday shopping for me. Don't think I ever have. I bet Katie will like that watch, Sandy. :thumbsup2

I am leaving in a bit to have breakfast with Natalie.

My DD too. She’s 17 and works at Dick’s at the mall. Scheduled 2 PM until 11 PM today and similarly tomorrow. On a regular Saturday there she can get almost 30,000 steps. She’s going to be exhausted!

Black Friday shopping used to be so much fun for me but it is ehh now, the stores don't really seem to do it anymore and sales are so spread out I can always find something somewhere.

Kids are older so instead of a lot of little things they opt for a big thing they can't easily afford & that is easier on me with time and effort so I try to steer clear of stores. Pretty sure I save a ton of money this way, if I am not in a store there is no impulse to buy. I do miss the enthusiasm, the energy just doesn't translate on line. I enjoy decorating so much more🎄🎅

No shopping for me, DW got a sweet gift card deal at a local grocer. I think that will be the extent of shopping for the weekend.

No shopping today, I have finished all Christmas shopping. I did buy some "Black Friday" things awhile ago.
Going with family to a resort today for the night. It has a water park.

No “Black Friday” gift shopping for me.

I might go to the supermarket later. They have a few Friday/Saturday only deals. 18 count eggs, k-cups, frozen french fries, etc.

I am more inclined to participate in Cyber Monday. The last time I participated in an in-person Black Friday sale, there was a huge brawl and a bunch of really obnoxious line cutters that caused some smaller fights. More recently (like 6 years ago), DH got a Black Friday deal on a TV online and picked it up in person at Target at midnight...since our tv died on Thanksgiving that year. In general, I don't usually participate in any of it unless someone asked for something early on that's likely to go on sale. It's only a deal if it's something I need. DD17 could use a small laptop, but she won't need it until August. So, I'm more tempted to wait until early summer. A number of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals tend to be for products being phased out by newer versions with slightly newer tech. So, I might as well wait with the need being 9 months from now.

I've thought about an Apple Watch (if I can cash in on a deal) since everyone I know seems to have one...I just still am not sold on why I "NEED" one. At this point, the only thing I've bought in all of this Black Friday madness...since so many drop their prices early...is for some Christmas decorations. I plan to start decorating the yard later on today and I've got some kaleidoscope lights, a new snowflake projector, and a big shooting start out for delivery.

No Black Friday shopping for me. I never have and probably never will. We are not usually in the market for big-ticket items for gift-giving, so it make BF shopping kind-of a moot situation. However, I've been hoping that the car rental agencies will run some specials and sure enough, I managed to knock about $40 off a rental in January. As is my style, I'll keep stalking this reservation but for now, that about sums up my Black Friday "shopping."

None for me. Hubby and I don't exchange gifts, we just give his parents money. My son's birthday is Dec. 3 and I usually get him a big gift for his birthday then a big gift for Christmas (you know something he needs like new tires) and then last year I got his SO a few small things and his baby girl a lot of stuff. This year, his family and I are going to WDW starting on his birthday (we couldn't go the day before because SEC championship game, go Dawgs) for 6 nights. I paid the down payment on their room because I booked it with my AP so that will be his birthday gift. Then I'm babysitting grand daughter one night so they can go to Jollywood Nights so that will be one Christmas gift for them. I'll probably treat them to a nice meal while we are there and pick up a few things for the baby as well. I'm sure I'll make a quick trip to Target or WalMart for some more things for the baby and probably pick up a few things on Amazon for them if they say they need something.

I am not. But my wife just got home excited that she got 4 bras for $60. But she had to go to 3 stores before she found a store with any bras in stock.

I bought two sets of colorme pjs online from Caden Lane for my niece and nephew. I figured they would have a sale today and it was 25% off. But I was buying them regardless. That's the only shopping I'm doing today other than grocery shopping. We didn't host yesterday and don't have any leftovers and put off grocery shopping since the store was crowded the past few days with those who were hosting so we definitely need some groceries.

We went to the mall and then a few items we could not find in person so ordered online from Amazon.
