Being of a different religion I have always watched it as long as I can remember we had no obligations that day. Even after I met my DH we usually go to services on Christmas Eve and don’t have to see his family until late afternoon.

I've seen it, but it was never a consistent tradition that I stopped. - I just catch it randomly some years.

We used to watch it every year when it was broadcast live, and one year we were actually on Main Street for the live broadcast (we set up the VCR to tape it while we were gone). But when it became more about musical acts and was no longer live, it became less interesting and we stopped watching.

This is a screenshot of us from a very bad copy of the parade we attended that I found online . . .

We were there when they taped the parade in 2002. We hung out and watched for about 30 minutes but did not spend the entire day watching. The one thing I remember when we watched the parade on Christmas morning is that they seemed to enhance the color of the sky. It was bright blue on TV but it was overcast and rainy that day.

Ive watched it since childhood, early 80s. But over the last decade it’s barely tolerable. Too many musical acts and “stories”, and not enough parade. I tuned in briefly to see a K-pop band that I could care less about. My kids don’t watch it, it’s too boring. They all said not enough parade.

Yes we have watched as long as we can remember, not necessarily live ..... but it is just a big long commercial for the parks and cruise line. I guess folks like the entertainment but since I don't know who half of them are, I tend to multitask when it is on. We do record it because DS likes to watch over and over.

I agree with this. I don’t remember watching it up until maybe the last 10ish years. There isn’t much parade. It’s a lot of ads (commercials and also for Disney) with more performances than parade. Having said that I will continue to watch it. But it’s more background noise while doing other things.

UPDATE: We tried to watch it today, but we all found it to be incredibly boring. We opted for the christmas fireplace video with christmas music playing in the background.

I'm late answering but here goes:
No I did not watch
I stopped watching a long time ago
reason? because I don't want to listen to the commentators and I don't like the commercial breaks.

I stopped watching a long time ago when it became more about musical performances and not much parade.

I overslept this year since I am sick with sinus infection and bronchitis. My Dad got our tree up on Christmas Eve, but we have either too sick or busy to decorate.
