Does anyone know if it COSTS money to be slimed at the Nick Hotel Pool. My kids REALLY want to be slimed and I stumbled across something that said it is 25 per kid:scared1:
Anything else I should be aware of upcharge wise when we stay there?

If you are talking about the daily mass sliming by the large pool, it is free. Not very slimy at all. Just green color water from the big dumping bucket. Make sure to check the time and get there at least 20-30 minutes early for a good spot.

The poolside sliming is free.

You can also "win" sliming during some of the shows in the theater and most of the poolside games have sliming as well, ds won in the theater and he was so excited.

You can also pay for a private sliming, it takes place in the theater, I think it was $125 or $150.

I am sorry to hijack, but I think that is the funniest thing I have read in a long long time :lmao:

If anyone wants to PM me, I will provide private sliming in my backyard for $75. :rotfl2:

Just back from there this weekend (Never going back! Had nothing to do with the room though..... the room was fine...very clean and spacious.) Mass sliming at the pool at 4:45pm.....Winning team captain of the Slime Time Live show also gets slimed.....not sure how they pick the teams though...sliming at the pool during pool games, but they only pick about 4 people each time and the pools are packed.

I would be interested in hearing why you wouldn't go back there...

My room was actually clean...so I had no problem with the room. I did have a problem with the pools which is the main draw of this resort. They were so gross. Lots of things floating around....gross....water was so cloudy it was disgusting. Some parents let their kids run wild....no supervision whatsoever.... kids going down slides and then sitting on the end of the slide because they were scared to go into the water (smaller pool area, Bldgs 1-4?)....kids jumping into the pool from all areas even though kids were shoulder to shoulder in the water....said "no diving"....but lifeguards had no problems letting these kids run and jump in a crowded pool. Kids had massive water guns that they were shooting at everyone.....even parents holding cameras trying to take pictures....rules clearly stated no outside water toys yet lifeguards did nothing. Bathrooms were so nasty....never saw anyone cleaning them...and you know how gross pool bathrooms can get...they need to be cleaned constantly.

I was there on a weekend....so it was very crowded at the pools. If you have been on DCL and know what the Mickey pool looks like on sea days....then imagine kids jumping in on top of one another...this is what it looked like at the bigger pool plus the coudy water...yuck!

My daughter liked the slides...but it was just gross. I would rather pay to go to a water park than stay at the Nick Hotel again.
