Slim in 6???

Has anyone ever done Slim in 6?? I am looking for a workout plan that I enjoy doing and that I am physically able to do (I weigh 280).

If not, do you guys have any good exercise ideas for someone of my size and fitness level. I don't exercise now so that should give you an idea of how in shape I am!! My problem is that I need something to hold my interest. If I get bored I will quit!

Walk Away The Pounds by Leslie Sansone is the perfect workout for those of us who are just beginning and out of shape. I have started with the 1 mile walk video and it was hard for me at first but now that I have been doing it for a few weeks I even added weights to the routine for the first time a few days ago. I am going to move up to the 2 mile walk in August.

The moves are very easy (just walking in place, side steps, kicks and knee lifts) but you really can work up a sweat. The 1 mile is only 22 minutes so it is not that long and can fit in a day pretty easily.
 
I did the biggest loser workout tape. It was nice because you can switch off from cardio to weights and they have a low impact and high impact workout. I would do one week of low and then the next high and throw some long walks in between days to switch it up a bit.
 
I know this was originally posted a month ago, but I wanted to chime in on this topic.

The DW and I are in our 5th week of the 6 week program. I have lost 15 lbs and DW has lost 13 lbs. I can feel a whole lot of muscle growing as well, just like in high school.

The program comes with 3 main exercise routines. The first level (routine) is approx. 30 minutes and gives a good introduction to the program. The second level is approx. 50 minutes and is a good ste-up from the first. The third is approx. 60 minutes and is pretty intense compared to the second. They recommend using the first two for a week each and then on to the third for the duration of the program. I was in decent shape (play hockey several times a week) and I found it difficult to get to the third until the end of the fourth week.

The program also comes with dieting recommendations. There is also a 6 day intensity program that had me drop 7 lbs in the first week. We will be doing it again right before our Vegas trip at the end of September. I figure to have lost a total of 25-30 lbs at that point.

All in all, it is a good program and it is good that both myself and the DW can cheer each other on as we see our transformations.;)
