Slightly sheepish question.... please no flame!

I'm pretty shameful in having to ask this....

How do you make ADRs? I know I can log into the Disney website and book tables etc but it doesnt seem to ask me for a number or anything.

I'm such a dreadful WDW tourist!

Are you wanting to connect them to your Disney resort reservation?
Or do you just want to make an ADR?

If you want to connect to your resort then you need a Disney reservation number in the format of 3 letters followed by 5 numbers. It used to work with the 12 digit number but looks like they don't work anymore.

I made most of my ADR's this time without linking to my room, only ones I linked were the ones that needed payment online like Hoop Dee Doo. By phoning I could use my DDP credits not cash. The regular meals with no payment I have done online, I will tell them at check in I am using DDP credits.

To link(if you have the correct res number) you need to click the link that says I want to use my dining plan to book reservations.

Thats the site I've been going to, but kept thinking I was in the wrong place. I'm ok with not linking to my room, we only have the QSDP so would be paying OOP for the table meals anyway and would just take cash for those.
