One of the things I regret from my wedding day, is forgetting to give the video camera to my brother. So we don't have any video footage of the day. :sad2:

So to do my best at fixing this problem, I'm planning on doing a slide show of pictures - intermingled with some stop motion footage - and putting it to the songs we used during the wedding day.

Does anyone have any recommendations of good software to do this? I want to be able to burn it to DVD, and control how long each image is displayed for.

TIA

I use ProShow Gold to make slideshows, I enjoy making shows after visiting our grandkids, and setting it to music. IMO it's fairly easy to learn to use it and you can add music (any length you want), pick the length of time you want each photo displayed, and you can burn it to DVD.

We use PhotoDVD Maker Professional. Our practice DVD was our engagement pics last summer. After our wedding, I put together a slideshow of our pics to share with friends and family at our "celebration dinner." The program is very easy to use and will do what you need it to. Have fun...it can be quite a project!

If you have a Mac....use iMovie....it works great! I use it for all my slideshows and have never had any problems. Windows Movie maker is also a good one.
