Slide at SSR

Hi I was wondering what the Waterslide is like at SSR.

I loved the BWV one.

Is this as fun? or is it tamer?

Well so far my kids thought the BWV slide was the best of the DVC resorts, but they liked SSR just fine. As long as we have one, they are happy! We have not tried the OKW slide yet though. One thing I did remember thinking was that the BWV slide needed to probably be refurbed soon, it was faded and was a little rough in a couple of places (in Oct.). The SSR slide is nice and new and still smooth. It is IMHO a little tamer than BWV but still a good slide.

I thought the SSR slide was way faster than the BWV slide as did my DH and DD (9). It's cool in it's own way as you go through "caves." It really shoots you out the slide at a faster rate. IMO

also, there is a smaller slide at SSR for the wee ones.

I love slides. Loved the BW one too. Is the SSR one pitch dark in any places? I hate that.
