There is a bit of Mel Brooks in all of us, don't you think? ;)

I am more Ann Bancroft...

Sleepdoggiedog. I really love your writing! Tease as I may over there, you are very entertaining...and quite talented as a writer. Start a new career man. I'd buy the first book...as long as there was a picture of the author on the jacket... :teeth:

First, a brief edit to the mission report. Agent Doc read the log and said, "Hey, dumbo (she meant that pejoratively not Disney-ly), we DID do Soarin' on this trip." Oops. She's right; we did. Day 5, in fact. Senility runs in our generation apparently. Anyway, my superydupery bad.

As for the new career, that sounds like work. That's the last thing I want, another job. Now, I CAN direct you to a sibling of mine who DOES write for a living and has published several novels, compilations of poetry and short stories, and even a cookbook. . .yes, his pic is on the jacket. . .;)

I would take you up on that offer Mr. SecretAgentMan, whether Miss Horsey does or not!!!

Miss Horsey gets first dibs; it's only fair since I did offer to her first. Now, had said person written the TR, his take would've been hilarious, poignant, occasionally shocking, and constantly revelatory. He's that good.

Oh, I think, and I know others will agree, that you give yourself far too little credit, my friend!!!

First of all, I must say I like Doc! A woman after my own heart who calls it like it is, and probably has a mind like a trap! So your ears aren't huge?

And being a SAHD, is not? And I just have to say, that writing does not seem like work to me.....just sit in my office for a few sessions, and you would understand.....

Now, I think I shall take you up on your offer of said brother. I am always looking for new prose....and goodie to the pic of him...it always helps to know who you are reading...hint, hint.... :teeth:

Well, Doc is the brain between us, no doubt there. For this superyduperymission, she was well-schooled in Preparing for Trips 101--nothing if not a planner. With lists. Lots and lots of lists.

Writing isn't work, but being a writer is. And, oh yeah, being a SAHD is an occupation unto itself, and yet another reason for not working at writing. Besides, I'm a busy man outside of SAHDding. Just ask my peeps.

Jack Butler. You can google him. Recommendations upon request. :)

clearly but she is a lucky woman, given the creed vs. goal thing... ;)

true, i have a few friends/acquaintances who are successful authors. it can be work, but I do love writing. I am kind of a grandma moses, as I never wrote before coming here. And I have no doubt you are a busy puppy. Supersleuthing is time consuming....

You might be late for this one, but you can be merely fashionably late, but on time for this gent's trippie on the Cruise board....

He is a hoot and a half and all that too. :thumbsup2

Dog, what happened to the link in your siggie?

But... happy to be here, nonetheless.

Tis VERY good!

VERY GOOD!

Funny AND witty.

However... I started with this. One.

Now I have to go back.

Read backwards.

I HATE doing that?

And, yet, I will. Sheesh.

Cheers, Mel.
