We have decided on our trip in August to go premium both ways and wondered how comfortable the seats were to try and sleep on the way back.

I am also doing a dance now as I am into single digit weeks before we go:banana:

The seats are certainly alot better than economy but I believe no where near as good as UC! I have slept quite a few times for several hours at a time in the PE seats, especially at night. I would suggest that perhaps one of the soft beaded pillows that you can buy at Brookstones at MCO are helpful to give support to your neck or lower back.

Claire ;)

we have no trouble sleeping in PE - although we try and always book UC for the night flight and PE for the day outbound flight, but have done some the other way round. We like to steal as many pillows as possible if there are any unused seats as that does help - those skinny things are useless.

you shouldnt have any problems, I've never flown VA economy so I cant compare but PE see,s to be plenty comfortable for sure.

enjoy!:thumbsup2

I can't sleep in PE, but many people in the cabin do sleep. I can never get comfortable enough, and I agree with Island Mum about the PE pillows - try and grab some extras or use a jumper for some extra comfort!

The new PE amenity kits are a nice touch, along with all the recent changes to PE. It's starting to feel much more "business-class" and much better value-for-money. :)

What are the new PE amenity kits? What are the recent changes you speak of?

Not flown PE since 2005...

PE ameinity kit now has its own goodies within a Premium Economy bag all labled with Premium Economy. http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/whatsonboard/premiumeconomy/premiumexperience.jsp

The food choice is (should be ) different to economy, served on china plates and real knives and forks. http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/whatsonboard/premiumeconomy/premiumdining.jsp
