Sleeping Beauty Tea Party (My Disney Girl)

I have just booked the Sleeping B. tea party for my daughter's 7th birthday. In fact her birthday is that actual day. I thought that the cost was $160.00 for a child and an adult but my total was a little over $200.00. Is this right and is it worth it? I thought of adding up the doll and other stuff separate to see if there was a huge difference but I do realize that you are paying for the experience. My next question is what do all of the girls dress up like. Are there certain ? She has a Pochohantas (sp?)costume she wore at Halloween but she doesn't consider her a princess. It would save me money if she wore it but I want her to be happy and kind of blend in if the other kids where Cinderella, ..... Please help? She did the Alice in Wonderland tea three years ago and loved it. I just thought that this would be more special and this will count as her "birthday party".

Yes for the child and adult it runs just over 200.00. My niece went and she is a huge Sleeping Beauty fan but both she and my daughter (who went as the adult) wore dressy dresses (like you would for a special occasion). Lots of kids wore princess outfits, some wore dressy clothes and a few wore park clothes.

Yes, $200 is for one adult and one child. I went last April and even after reading other posts, decided not to haul a princess costume all the way to Florida. My daughter (5 1/2 at the time) picked out her best outfit and she was fine. However, there were a lot of girls dressed in their finest princess costumes. It all depends on how your daughter will react. If she's ok without it, then bring a nice outfit. And, by the way, I wore a casual skirt and was almost embarassed for some of the other mom's who looked like they just rolled out of bed. Seems they didn't think about the pictures they'd be in as well.

We just went last Wednesday and only two little girls weren't dressed as princesses, so I guess it would depend upon how your DD will react. The girls were dressed as all different princesses, although it seemed like most were Aurora. It was well worth the money and my DD4 is having lots of fum watching the video and playing with her new doll. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!!!
