I have read several post regarding the Select Comfort Sleep number beds and some of you refer to them as feeling like you are sleeping "downhill". What exactly do you mean? Does it feel like you are in a hole or rolling towards the middle or head or feet slanted above the other??? We are thinking about getting one and want to clarify all the negatives first. Also, we currently have a regular queen bed and are concerned about the sleep area on the sleep number queen bed being too small. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

It may have something to do with your side of the bed being pumped up higher than your mates' side. We like our select comfort bed quite a bit. :)

We bought a sleep number bed 3 years ago and love it :lovestruc I have never felt like I was sleeping downhill.

I know lots of you own these so any info is appreciated!

I am not sure what that is like either. People seem to love them or hate them. We've had two. We moved up to a king due to my husband kicking me. No problems with the queen here. We did get a pillow top this time because I could sort of feel the divider the last time.

I've never felt the downhill thing though, neither on the queen or the king. We both even sleep with two different numbers as well.

Been Sleep Numbers owners for 5 years now. My dad has my old bed and he seems to love it as well and never said anything about it.

I'm curious myself though what it is, since I've never had a clue waht that was about.
