I think my dd8 is in the running for biggest slacker this week. She played Animal Crossing for 6 hours yesterday and shes at it again today, lol.

Only bigger slacker is me for letting her, lol. It is the last week before school starts and I am just done with Summer at this point, it's hot and humid out and I'm just not feeling it, think I'll put my feet up and read a book.

Can any of you out slack us? lol

Hello neighbor! I'll slack with you. Our a/c is out and the guy is here fixing it. I'm hot and on the computer with a fan blowing at me and our dog. The kids are in the basement playing the PS3 games. When the air comes back on, I'll do the dishes and pick up and then do some reading.

We have a meet the teacher night tonight and I'm guessing we won't be there long with no a/c at the school.

I don't expect the kids to do much this last week. I only expect them to do some reading, because it doesn't take much to do that.

I'm with you. I am so sick and tired of the heat and humidity. It looks like after the storms we get tonight we should have some relief for a few days anyway. Our kids have been putting off their summer AP homework so they are reading their books for that today. DD is still "in bed" doing her homework, DS made it to the couch to do his :lmao:. I actually had a pretty productive morning but I got done what I wanted to get done today so I am off to read my book soon. :thumbsup2 Someone on another thread posted about having margaritas and if it wasn't only 11:00am, I would add that to my agenda. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

As long as it's not a regular thing, I say let her have her fun! I remember watching a lot of TV during summer vacations.

No AC?! Ack..that might drive me over the edge :) At least it's cool here while we slack...us slackers like to be comfortable here, lol :lmao:

I did that yesterday....spent almost 8 hours playing World of Warcraft...but hey, it was my day off from work...I needed the break..LOL..

About 5 years ago, before we both became responsible fathers, my best friend and I spent about 14 hours, during a blizzard, at his house playing Halo 2 on the XBox. It was probably the most slacking I had ever done in my life. Ahh to be in my late 20's again. :rotfl:
