Skyliner Crash, again

What is happening with WDW having another Skyliner crash? They have had several in the last year.
Does this happen with similar transportation elsewhere in the world and it just never gets reported? Or is WDW an outlier?
I have no idea, just curious.

Meh, buses have accidents too. Unless one of the cabins falls from the sky, I don’t think this is a big deal.

There are many of these systems around the world and these types of “crashes” (gondolas hitting each other in the station) are fairly common. Disney’s system is just one of the more high-profile one’s, so it gets higher share of press.

Good to know. I wondered if it just was reported more because Disney has such a high profile.
So far, it doesn't look like any of the "crashes" have been major.
