skyauction-any problems checkin in a day or two later?

We are staying aprox 11 nights this summer. It will still most likely be cheapest to go ahead and book two 7 nigght stays thru skyauction. the only thing is we would arrive a couple nights later than our start date for our auction. Anyone done this. Do you think it would be a problem?

I did this a couple of times. I called the resort a couple of days before arriving to warn them. They put a note on my reservation. There were no problems checking in 3 days late. They were very clear that just because I checked in late that I could not stay past the assigned check out time.

not a problem at all.

just call the resort - so they won't resell your villa thinking you are 'no show'

remember that the day you change resorts - you could be without a home from 10:00am to 4:00pm - so plan for it. or put the reservations on top of each other -

i checked in a day late once. no problems here, either. just let them know in advance.
