Skipping the counter

which car rental companies at MCO have the skip the counter option and how does it work?

I don't know all of them but we used Dollar last summer and signing up for Dollar Express (which takes some time so don't wait until the last minute) allowed us to go right to the garage. It was my very first time renting a car and it was just me and my two children so I was a bit apprehensive but we went out to the garage, looked at the sign board and next to our name it said see attendant. I got a little nervous but I walked to the window, gave my name and the attendant handed me a packet - pointed out the row with my class vehicle then whispered if we didn't like anything in that class we could move to the next if we wanted. We were happy with a car in our class so we loaded up, headed for the exit, gave them my license/paperwork and we were on our way in less than 5 minutes.

It was super easy, I was very happy with the process. It does take a day or two (sorry, I can't remember now) once you apply for the Dollar Express to receive your information so just don't wait until right before you need it. I made, and cancelled, several reservations leading up to the trip based on which was the least expensive. I didn't know what company I would end up with but I signed up for the Dollar Express (I also signed up for the Alamo one) just in case Dollar was the final reservation, and it was.

This is probably a silly question , but this just crossed my mind......
If you choose the "Lock Low & Go " choice on the website, you probably can't use the direct to the garage feature with Dollar car rental right? How would that work?

National does as well. The difference with National is you get assigned an aisle, and you can pick any car in that aisle. Theirs is called "Emerald Aisle".
