We ate at the canteen there. Beautiful interior but we really did not like the food.
I had the pork shoulder hash with chorizo sausage and it would have been good if it was half the size and served with eggs. It was a big pile of meat and potatoes. Poached eggs on top would have made it awesome but that is hard to do so scrambled would have been fine.
I also tried the "pod" which is like a steamed bun filled with a scrambled egg mixture which was simply awful. The exterior was too thick and chewy with an odd yet bland flavor. The interior did not have enough filling to make it tasty. If I had walked through the tables and seen the empty uneaten pods I never would have ordered it.
My DD's had the goat cheese egg souffle with beef and chimichurri sauce. The eggs were too hard and the beef and sauce were tasty but felt odd at breakfast.
It looked like the french toast went over fine at other tables but people were grumbling. Once at the PU window and again while at the tables people complained and the chef brought out plain scrambled eggs.
I think they should just add an "Earthling" platter of scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. My DH would have not eaten a thing here. So be warned.
