Ok so I have a cricut and just when i thought I was done buying Scrapbook machines I get sucked back in.

I got a 50% coupon for Micheals in the mail and the only thing it said I couldn't use it on was Cricut (I hate that)...but I fiqured I should buy something big.
So I'm staring in the die-cut Isle and since I got given a case of Sizzix Die's I bought the big Sizzix big shot or whatever it's called it was $100 and I got it for $50 (love it)

So my question is Arn't all die-cut machines the same??? Can I use cuttlebug dies with a sizzix machine??? And where can I buy a quikuts machine?
Or should I just save get one of each machine?:confused3

Please help I'm confused.

the big shot should cut all dies. you don't need to get a qk tool or a cuttlebug machine. you may need to buy an adaptor for some of the thinner dies, not sure. maggie

(the cuttlebug will cut most dies as well, the qk hand tool will pretty much just cut qk dies)

Maggie is correct. The big shot will cut the dies. However, I wanted a "crisper" look for the cuttlebug dies, and bought (with coupons of course)
the cuttlebug cutting plates, the difference in thickness is minimal, but it made me feel better :rotfl2: For thin ones, I bought adapter, cutting plate letter C. Not easily found, (most stores only carry A & B) I got it from Joann.com

Works like a charm, without the bulk and expense of yet "another" machine.
