I don’t know why I haven’t thought of this before, but I want a small tote that will fit well into tue front basket of the ECV. That way I can take all my things out in one swoop.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the front basket of most ECVs? I’m renting from scooterbug if that helps.

Thinking a lunch tote would fit well.

I can’t give you an average size but I use a fabric style bag rather than a tote. That way it adjusts to whatever dimension my items are. I just undo the fold up bag, toss in my items, tie shut the handles and I’m ready to go on a ride.

I use a vera bradley sling backpack. Perfect size for the basket and the outlet currently has a gray one for under $20 so I just bought another!

I carried a made to order leather wristlet in my front basket. It is approx 12”x8” with a 2” gusset. I had room to spare within the basket.

I would call Scooterbug. They should know the dimensions of their rentals. A smallish tote should fit. I rent from Gold Mobility and I can fit a partially filled lightweight backpack in their basket. Once it gets too full, it needs to go at my feet.

Thank you for the replies & suggestions.
I decided I'm going to use a drawstring backpack as it's not structured so could be manipulated. Also, the I can pull the drawstring opening over the lip of the basket and easily closed and taken off the basket.
