In the members's directory, the 2-BR Deluxe is listed as 1,257 s.f. And it is noted that floor plan layouts may vary slightly.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom and found it to be very spacious. The layout was very conducive to a family of 4 (we even had 6 on a couple of nights and it was comfy). The master has a big bathroom and the living and kitchen areas are just right, but rarely did all of us watch tv there. There's also a seperate dining area.

I thought it was huge. Master bedroom is decent size with tv but is adjoined by a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. In between the 2 bedrooms is a living room with tv, kitchen and large dining table. Also counter with barstools. The second bedroom has a tv and a separate normal size bathroom.

Do you know if the TVs have parental controls to block the R-rated programming? We have two young boys that would have unsupervised access to the TV in their bedroom after "lights-out".

Looking at a 1 bedroom. Have no idea or rates. Could anyone give me a ballpark figure?

Reserving directly through Wyndham could be expensive. You could rent a 1-BR from a timeshare owner for less. You can get rental prices here:

NOTE: delete the "space" between ".com/" and "United-" before copying and pasting the entire address. (this forum doesn't allow 140-letter "words").

There are relatively few 1BR units. You may find though that a 2BR isn't that much more.

Has anyone rented from an owner here? If so, how was the process. It looks perfect for us but I am cautious. Do you reccomend an owner that you used?

My kids only watched Disney and Nickelodeon channels. But my husband thinks it was basic cable. We don't remember seeing any movie channels.

I've rented to others. Usually, it's someone I know personally. Once in a while, someone refers them to me. My experience has been that I can get a very good sense of a potentail renter in a five minute phone call---and sometimes, we have a good rapport through just email.

They do have Cartoon Network, so the late night Adult Swim could be a problem. I also don't remember any movie channels (doesn't mean there aren't any though).

There is Lifetime also and IMHO this can be questionable content for children.

If telling them "Okay, guys, no TV" isn't enough, you could unplug the set. It's a rather coarse notion of "parental control", but it will work. ;)

Does anyone know the approx. size of the one bedrooms. Going to reserve a one bedroom. There is only 4 of us.
Thanks

The 1-bedroom units are 902 s.f. with a king bed in the bedroom and a double sleeper sofa in the living room. There are not many 1-bedroom units at this resort. The majority of the units are 2-bedrooms.

We returned from BCR last week. For a family of 5, we thought there was PLENTY of space in the 2BR unit. We would have loved to stay longer. It's the first vacation where we were NOT "ready" to go home. We think it was mostly because the unit was so spacious and we didn't feel cramped together.

Would definitely stay there again. Just try to get a unit that's not close to the ongoing construction.
