Has anyone requested sites together? What did you get?

DH and i are traveling with our DS/DDIL our DD and DGS. We have 2 TT that we would like as close as possible because we cook together. We've requested premium sites. Is it possible one of us could drive in?

Could anyone suggest any sites that worked for them that i could request?

Thank you all! I get such good information from you all. Our dates are Sept 15 through Sept 21

If you both have booked a premium site then you can call and have them linked together for the same loop. I have always been put beside or in front of our parents site. September is a great time to be at the fort.

Thank you! Call the Fort or the reservation number?

Have them link your reservations together and put down request to be close. In July DS and I were side by side.

They have never let us down! We stayed many weeks side by side when my sister had an RV. When she lost that in a divorce they backed our campsite up to her cabin, which was awesome! Then, after they revamped their cabin/campsite configuration and no longer had sites backing to cabins; they put us in the only site that sites directly next to a cabin in the 100 loop (down by the docks). We had heard that is was an impossible request, that those were reserved for VIPs. I teared up at check-in when the CM told us where we'd be. I think he thought I was a little crazy. We faxed a letter of request to the Fort each time and explained our situation. My travel agent did the same. They bring the Magic at the Fort.

Well not SOLELY for VIP's but that's their primary purpose, HotMouseLove. If they granted all the requests for that pair of cabins in loop 100 they would stay full 24/7 when not in use by VIP's and I don't think they want that much wear-and-tear on them. So your sister did receive some Disney magic.

We have had people report here that they randomly got assigned to one of the 100 loop cabins but those people are far and few between.

I stayed a few trips back in the RV site next to the 100 cabins (and also next to the little sidewalk that goes down to the Settlement Trading Post). To me that was a great spot.

So yes, requests for side-by-side or across from each other does have a high success rate if people go about it in the right way (as noted in earlier responses).

Thanks. Your story made me smile.

PS - maybe your sister can rent a trailer and ya'll can do side-by-side if there is a future trip for you both together.

That is Awesome! Thanks so much for your story! It is magic there! Its why we keep coming back!

Thank you all for your responses!
bama_ed i've been kinda waiting for your words of wisdom.
I feel a lot better now. I think i will remove the loop request for 800. I've always liked that little loop but i'd rather have sites close. I have the reservations linked they know were together.
