What are some of the sites that people would be trying to scalp concert tickets on? In the beginning processes of trying to snag two One Direction tickets for older dd and I for a June concert.

Right now, they're totally out of our price range, but thinking that once the concert gets closer, they'll start coming down in price. But would like a few sites to compare.

Thanks!
Michelle

(I'd try the box office, but we live 2 hours away from 2 of the venues they're coming to around here)

I used StubHub last June for One Direction tickets. Bought tickets on a Friday for a Sunday concert. Don't remember the exact amount but they were only $10-20 above face value and there were a lot available.

I don't think the ticket prices will come down! They are high now because the lower price tickets are gone. And even on Stub Hub the prices don't get cheaper as you get closer. I buy tickets all the time for my boss you wines and dines clients and I have never seen tickets come down in price as the event gets closer.

Try ebay. I have had great luck getting tickets from sellers.

FYI The box office will have the same price as what is listed on TicketMaster.

We are trying for tickets for the July concert in Houston. . Last year about a month or two before the June concert, ticketmaster released more seats. We're hoping for this again. In their site now for the 1D concert it says they will release more closer to the concert date, so my fingers are crossed. If they don't then we will probably do what pp said, and wait till a couple of days before the concert and try stubhub.

That's what I'm hoping for, thanks.

Do you know if there's a way to be alerted to when those tickets will go on sale, if they do?
