Sit down! Buckle up! & Hang On! Mickeystoontown's Gang is going to Walley World! 5/15

I think you have to use that one Plus card for the ride and dining options. I found this thread; maybe it will help.

Thank you so much for that link! I tried doing a search and so many things popped up. It sounds like it's doable. My sis-in-law wasn't even planning to buy photopass so I may tell her to get all of the "regular" photopass pictures that they want but that they'd have to just buy the ride pictures separately. I don't want to be responsible for keeping up with all of the ride picture #'s and going back and forth to get them. Not trying to sound mean but it sounds like a hassle.

Lisa.

If you see two odd ball New York women (from the Canadian border part of the state, not the city part of the state), one wearing either green or yellow sneakers waving at you at some point in your trip, it's me. I've been mildly stalking you on the Dis for a while now. We (ex husband, son and I) used to live in Baton Rouge.

My trip overlaps yours a little bit (May 19th to the 25th).

Hey! If ya'll see us, come on over! I'd love to meet cha. Don't be offended if I don't spot ya'll right off bat. Not only does my family joke at me for dropping food everywhere, they laugh at me and tell me that I walk around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I am bad about not noticing things.

Seriously, I'll try and be on the lookout. If you see me first, just holla!

VooDoo and Rock N Roll.....They're good for the soul! Whaaaaat?

After unpacking our things and lazing around in the hammocks, it’ll be time to hop on a bus to Downtown Disney. Call me crazy but I love ridin’ on the Disney buses. :yay: Let that bus driver worry about the traffic. :drive: Let them navigate the backroads that I wouldn’t know about. Let them drop me off at the bus stop and come back to pick me up later. :goodvibes Let me sit back and relax. :thumbsup2 Let me sit there and giggle at the man in the too short cut off jeans. ::yes:: Let me sit there completely oblivious to the fact that I’m being giggle at too.:p Ahhh, the Disney buses. Love ‘em! :hyper:

Last trip, we tried out The House of Blues and Wolfgang Puck Express for the first time and we were very pleased with both. For this trip, we knew that we wanted to eat at Downtown Disney but weren’t sure exactly where. Lacey had put in a request for T-Rex ‘cause we all like it and Jesse had never eaten there before. Check that one off the list of restaurants to try before join us at The World. Hunter said that he’d like to go back to The House of Blues. Okie dokie! House of Blues it is!

Our dinner ADR is for 7:45 p.m. and I hope to get there early so we can look around in the store a bit more than we did when we went last year. Last year, we surprised the kids with tickets to Cirque du Soleil and we really didn’t have time to browse before we had to hotfoot it over to Cirque.

I am a big fan of Chopped and the Food Network Channel in general and I almost tinkled my pants when I found out that Aaron Sanchez helped create the House of Blues menu.

I’ve glanced at the menus for each of the restaurants taht we are dining in but I haven’t looked at them really in depth. I’m thinking that there’s a chance that we may be ordering repeats since everything was so good last trip:

I’m sure that we’ll weeble wobble our way out of the restaurant about a hour or so later and will want to at least do a little window shopping before heading back to the resort for the night.

**Up next: Splish Splash! We're taking an offsite salt water bath!

I'm getting excited about trying the French Quarter. Even though we are in Louisiana, we don't see a ton of Mardi Gras decorations so it won't feel too much like home.

We'll be staying at POFQ the same time you're in WDW. Will let you know how close it is to the real thing since we visit New Orleans several times a year.

It's been several years since we've visited New Orleans. Actually, quite a few years...not since Katrina.

We ate at the House of Blues a few years ago. I can't seem to remember what we ate but I do remember that everyone thought their meal was good. :thumbsup2

I'm right there with you on the Disney buses. I missed riding them this past trip. :sad2:

That food looks fantastic! I tried to get Jeff to try House of Blues this trip, but we went with Cape May Cafe instead. It's on the list for next time!

Good morning! I have a question that I hope ya'll can answer for me. In the past, I've been in Photopass share groups. This year, I pre-purchased the Photopass Plus and this is my first time using it. I have family members who are going at the same time and they haven't bought their Photopass yet. Can several groups share the Photopass Plus? Is it any different that the "regular" Photopass?

I think you've had some answers to this but I'll toss in my two cents.

My cousin and her family and myself and DH went at the same time last year. She and I were going to share the Photopass, but she decided to upgrade to the Photopass+. Since she payed for the upgrade, she got the only + card (I'm sure you know this, but you only get one, and that's the only card that works on the rides/dinner photos), but we had no problem adding our additional cards to her + card and her regular PP cards and put everything together on one disc. And whenever we rode rides together, they would put our whole party's pics on the card. :thumbsup2

Also, love the DTD plans. I also love riding on Disney busses!

Lisa, if you are interested in photopass plus you can add it to your package for a cheaper price.

I remember you saying how much you liked House of Blues last year. We've still not tried it...one of these days.

Window shopping is always fun.

I'm not so sure I agree with you on the buses, though. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

After seeing those pictures, I really think I need to try House of Blues next time I go. That dessert with the chocolate and the raspberries is calling my name! I am so glad Mama decided to go this year - more memories to cherish, and I know she will love being there with all the kids, too. Otherwise she wouldn't get to see Lacey and Jessie for much longer.

I am still here and needed to say so! As you know, HOB holds a special place in my heart! Ask them when Rachel B is opening the show again! :lmao: We can start a grass roots effort to get her back! Seriously though, unless they have revamped their menu since September...the VooDoo shrimp is NO MORE! Which is a horrible shame because when we were there, Pete and I spilt an order because I was so nervous and I only ate two bites of the delicious concoction! NOw I may never have it again. :sad1:

Honestly I tend to walk around with blinders on when I'm somewhere I don't expect to see people.

One of my friends and I walked past each other repeatedly shopping in WallyWorld one day, the kids kept chatting as we crossed paths, but it took several aisle passes for us to figure out who the heck they were talking to. (The husbands on the other hand couldn't figure out why we weren't acknowledging each other.)

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi! I've been reading but haven't had a lot of time to post.
Your plans are looking good!

House of Blues sounds so good! I think we'll have to try it sometime.

I can't wait for the next update to see where you'll be going!

I do the same thing! I didn't even see my own Mother walking around Walmart one day.

I should being doing the same thing on your report. I've been reading along too.

I bet that ya'll would like it. It's a "cool" atmosphere.

I probably would have forgotten what we ate too if I didn't have pictures to remind me. ;) Wait, I take that back, the fried chickenw as humongous and we've talked about that several times.

I love the buses! They are part of our Disney trips.

Definitely keep House of Blues on your restaurants to try. It's a neat place to eat.

The music on the bus gets you in the mood.

Exactly!
