Sit down! Buckle up! & Hang On! Mickeystoontown's Gang is going to Walley World! 5/15

Hi Lisa! Just wanted to wish you a safe & fun trip!!!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!!!

Have a great time, Lisa!!!!!

Drive safely and I can't wait to read your trip report!!

Have a safe and fun trip! I'll be arriving on May 31st myself!

I'm so excited for you that today is finally here for you. Have a great trip! Happy early Birthday to Hunter! Can't wait to read about your trip when you get back.

Just have a second....at 4:00, the boss said that we were shutting down early. Of course, 49 minutes later and we're still here. Darn phone keeps ringing off the hook. He did slip me an extra $100 and said to buy him a Grumpy shirt (if I can find one in a 3 or 4 X....the man is BIG) and keep the extra for my troubles. As soon as he gets off that phone, I'm bolting! Ya'll be sweet and don't raise a ruckus or cause troubles while I'm away!

Have a safe trip!! Can't wait to read all about it when you get back! :)

Have a great trip!!! Safe travels! Can't wait to read all about your adventures upon your return.

About that shirt for the Boss. I am a 2X and got one two years ago and it ran A size small. Better get a size bigger then you need.

Safe travels! See you Thursday! Be sure to have your phone turned on. Hopefully we will get out of JJ's doc apt early. They told us today to be there 30 minutes earlier.

Following along! I loved your recap of your route and what you see on your drive along the way. I might have to borrow that idea for my own PTR...we're drivers as well (about 1,000 door to door) and for me the ride is one of the most interesting parts!

It's Midnight and we are about to hit the sheets! We made it safe and sound after about 15 1/2 hours on the road. That's pretty good time considering we stopped several times for gas and potty breaks and spent an hour eating lunch at Cracker Barrel and about 45 minutes in McDonald's.

While we thought that Port Orleans French Quarter was beautiful, it turned out to be just like we were afraid....it looked too much like home. Without going into a lot of detail (it IS midnight after all:p), we enjoyed it but won't be booking a stay there. The food court food was horrible! A total waste of almost $40.

We toured Art of Animation this morning and, while it was cute, it also wasn't someplace that we'd book. We walked from one end to the other and had a good look around. The walk from Animation Hall to the Little Mermaid rooms was loooong.

We checked into CBR around lunchtime and it was, truly, like coming home. So calm and relaxing. I started my walk from our room in Martinique 22 towards Jamaica to do some snooping around (they are doing some refurbishing) when a storm blew threw and I got caught over in Aruba which is across the lake from Martinique. I had a nice little sit-down/rest under cover and waited it out. Almost an hour long rest. :sad2:

Tomorrow is Sea World and I'm looking forward to it. Supposed to meet up with lovethattink tomorrow for lunch.

I have GOT to sign off now. Laptop battery is running low as is my battery. :crazy2:

Glad you all made it safe and sound. We stayed at CBR in 2011 and really enjoyed our stay there. We've only stayed there and Pop and CBR was much quieter and more relaxing. I guess it's that island life and state of mind! :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you had a safe trip! and sorry to hear you didn't enjoy POFQ to much.

Yeah for being back at your happy place CBR! Have fun at Sea World!

Good to hear that you made good time! POFQ was too much like home for us too but we loved the food that was offered for dinner in the food court. I am sorry that you hit it on a bad night!

Glad you are "home" again at CBR! I hope you have a wonderful day at Seaworld!

Glad you made it safe and sound. Sorry to hear you didn't like POFQ. I love POR and the food court there. Happy you are HOME at CBR. Guess you'll have to try a 1 day stay at CSR next time to see how that one feels for you. ;) Have a great time! And enjoy your visit with family.
Love the little "live" updates!
