What a day...that 30 min workout this morning liked to have killed me!! I don't know if it was the running last night or the workout this morning, but I DEFINATELY have muscles in my thighs today!! :eek:
DH and I went running again tonight...started off saying "ouch ouch ouch ouch" on every step!! hubby was laughing at me.

ok..
b-cheerios w/ 2% milk
s-100% whole grain fig newton bar (yummy)
l-grilled chicken salad wrap 12 oz strawberry limeade (sonic)
s-6 whoppers & about a dozen peanut butter m&m's :confused3 (no will power)
d-1 hot dog & bun
water - 90 oz :thumbsup2
exersize - 30 min DA workout this am - 30 running this pm
resisted - cake (it was from yesterday and was probably stale!), more whoppers & m&m's....

See, that's the problem! I like the little kind of chocolate that you can just POP into your mouth! I keep telling the girls not to bring that stuff in, but they don't care!! :mad: i will be going to the grocery in the next day or two and I will be getting pretzels, grapes, oranges...the kind of stuff i can "munch" on at my desk w/o gaining weight.

oh, sis #1 finally called, she's down 2# - #($*@!! good for her...really, I mean it. :rolleyes:

ok...gotta do some housework...is it possible to vacuum from a crawling position?? :confused3

tomorrow - 5:30 am workout.....tomorrow night..... :scared: :crazy2: :eek:
 
OMG...I was just reading your post and I saw it said 6 whoppers....and I was thinking like Burger king whoppers!....I was ...omg how can she eat 6 whoppers! :rotfl:

Great job working through the soreness and getting those workouts in! And I know you want to see the scale move downward, but I also suggest taking some measurements to see your progress. You could be gaining muscle and losing fat and sometimes that means the scale doesn't budge but you are getting smaller...

Excellent idea on the healthy snacks. I have been chewing a lot of gum lately with all the Girl Scout cookies everyone's bringing in... :rolleyes:

Talk about sore!!! OMG...my thighs are killing me!! Got up this morning and did upper body workout..(30 min)..legs didn't want to move!! Running again tonight....legs will just have to deal with it!!
I did take measurements last week...... :crazy2: not a pretty sight!!

That brings me to a question....how do you measure your breasts? I know...weird question....but I'm not sure!! :confused3 I wear a 36C, but when measuring, do you go under the girls, or across the center, or across the top...(armpit area?) Ok...i'm stupid, I know!!

I'm tracking all my food and exercise in a mini journal I keep in my purse...I have my starting figures and daily intake...it really makes you think before you put something in your mouth....because then you have to write it down and actually account for it!! (I also have both sis's starting weight and info too!! :thumbsup2 that way they can't pull one on me!)

You are doing awesome on your exercising! :cheer2: I thought the same thing as Linda at first about the whoppers! I was like :scratchin that's not a "snack", then I was like OH... :rotfl: I agree that it is hard to resist the small pieces of chocolate when you are at work. The last office job I had the ladies would bring it and try to give it to me so they wouldn't eat it. :confused3 Not Cool!

I think it is great that you are getting up early to exercise! Maybe you will motivate me to do the same... I get up early, but to watch tv :lmao: I keep saying I will workout while my show is on, but the couch is just Too comfy.

With your new Kickbutt attitude you're gonna kick those pounds in a jiffy! :cheer2:

Amber...you know what....since I started working out in the morning, I feel better throughout the day. A little sore every now and then, but pretty good! Try it...I know it's tough, (trust me, I KNOW!) but you can do it! Don't even turn on the tv....just put some music on (good old rock & roll!) and do some crunches, and leg lifts!! That's what I did this morning and I felt great!!
ok...so today wasn't too bad...i still need to get to the grocery...

water intake - almost 90oz....(will be by bedtime!)
exercise-(a.m.)40 crunches as well as 40 on each side crunches ( :eek: ) arm presses and curls and back and shoulder exercises w/ weights (30 min)
(p.m.) walk/run - 30 mins...2 mile route :cool1:
resisted - more than one chocolate donut, (obviously not the whoppers again!! :mad: )

As for measuring, you measure right across the top of the girls. Since I have the chest of a 12 year old boy, it really doesn't make a difference where I measure... :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

You are always going to be tempted by junk food, but the more you get into it, the less you will give in.

You are making great progresss towards a healthier lifestyle!!!
 
I couldn't agree with you more about exercising in the am. I am the LAST person I ever thought would wake up early to work out....but that feeling when I'm done......you can't beat that! :cool1:

I just go in a million directions when I get home from work (after picking up the two little darlings :lmao: ) so working out then is just never gonna happen. And I also make sure I get in 3 workouts during the workweek, so that if I don't exercise on the weekend there's no guilt. If I do, then it's a bonus :banana: .

Keep up the GREAT work!

Today started off kinda rough...then got better...then got rough again.
DD6 crawled into bed w/ us last night and basically slept right up against me.
I couldn't move between her and DH. I know I should have gotten up and put her back into her bed, but I was exhausted! (and lazy!) Anyway, my alarm goes off at 5:30 and I can hardly move!! My back and shoulders are KILLING me...and not from working out...from being smooshed all night! So, I shut the alarm off and didn't get up. :guilty: When I did get out of bed, I only had time to do about 40 crunches and 40 side to side crunches....about 15 minutes?? Then, I get to work and one of the girls went to BK and got sausage, egg and cheese biscuts!! (HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY I'M ON A FRIGGING DIET??!!)It's a good thing I don't really care for these things...I did eat the cheese and biscuit...it was melted together. (oh, and if you don't eat it...they get all pissy at you! They got pissy at me for tossing the meat and egg!! I asked them if they wanted it before I tossed it! :confused3 Next time I will be strong, AND rude and NOT eat any of it!!) Ok, so later in the day, DD6 calls from school saying she's not feeling well...(me neither after the biscuit!) I go get her and as soon as we're home..she's jumping all over the place being an obnoxious little twit!! :p (she is now standing next to me with her shirt pulled up over her face, like a hockey player in a fight! WTH!!! :confused3 :crazy: :bounce: :Pinkbounc )

l- 4 more whoppers, maybe it was 6...
s-handful of peanut m&m's...(after I got home w/ dd)

hey, it was wheat bread...isn't that good for you?(it wasn't worth it...I have killer heartburn right now!)
exercise - not much...not even going to count the crunches...not sure if it was 30 or 40.

resisted - absolutely nothing!! :sad2: :guilty:

Tomorrow moring I will be getting up and doing the Jillian Micheals Workout...(my Biggest Loser Workout hasn't come in yet) and tomorrow evening DH and I will be running again. Sunday will be a bust for me...I have 2 photo shoots and will be gone from 8am til about 9pm...so much for my weekend huh?! At least at the photo shoots, I drink a TON of water!! :woohoo:

ETA - that tea we bought...WU-LONG....my boss likes it...but I think it tastes like..... :rolleyes1 :confused3 ...let's just say it would take a WHOLE LOT of sugar for me to get it down!! I tried it hot, and chilled and it was just YUCK!!

Last year my DS9 called me from the nurse's office at school (during their standardized testing) complaining of a stomach ache. I told him to tough it out and take his tests, thinking he was just trying to get out of them (the nurse agreed). Sure enough, about 2 hours later, the nurse called back and said he was throwing up non-stop. But by golly, he finished his tests! Talk about feeling GUILTY :guilty: :guilty: :guilty: I deserved the Worst Mom of the Year award for that one...

I know you can get back on track today! :cheer2:

Ok...so we did it a little differently tonight. Walked the first 1/2 mile, then ran the next WHOLE MILE & 1/4!!!(then walked the rest home)

It didn't even hurt!! I'm sitting here now, FEELING GREAT!! I hate it that we won't be able to run tomorrow...(photoshoot all day)
Anyway, I will do the BIGGEST LOSER Workout in the morning. Still trying to find my office from earlier today...(cleaning spree, don't know what came over me!!)
I won't be posting tomorrow, so I'll let you know on Monday how bad BOB kicked my butt!!
Ya know, I may not be losing any weight, but since I kicked it into gear with the exercising, I've been feeling pretty darn good!! :teeth:

I have heard that the Biggest Loser DVD is great! I have been trying to rent it from Blockbuster Online, but there is always a long wait for it. I want to try it out before I buy it.

I am so glad I helped you get back in control of your eating. It is always nice to know I am helping someone (since I obviously can't help myself! :rotfl: )

Great job running and also motivating your DH! You are going to be in great shape. And remember it's not just the scale, but your body composition that counts (check those measurements once a month to see your REAL progress!)

Hey Amy...I'm not kidding....I got out the pringles...ate like 4 or 5 of them, then read your post and put the lid back on them!! You "caught" me!! :teeth:

Anyway, I only have about 2 minutes before I'm out the door again and just wanted to pop in. No exercise this morning...woke up with a killer headache/migrane...went to the first photoshoot and was like a total zombie! Boss sent me home about an hour ealier than planned so I could lay down before the next shoot....which is in about 35 minutes :crazy: Feeling better now, but won't get any of my workout in. Although, setting up for these shoots is quite a workout in itself!! (Light boxes that weight about 40lbs, up and down the ladder to hang the backdrops, back & forth behind the camera setting up the kids and teams.... :crazy: )
ok...I gotta grab my water bottle and an apple and get out the door...
