Which attractions are now offering Single Rider? I know in the past that Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Incredicoaster, etc have offered single rider options. I'm flying in for 2 days next week and will be park hopping solo on W, 7/14 and TH, 7/15. I was under the impression that some rides stopped offering this option, but could be wrong about that. Does Smuggler's Run or any other major attraction offer Single Rider? Thanks in Advance!

Dated June 26th Deadline article:

"The single rider option is said to be available for select attractions at Disneyland, including Space Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Tours and Splash Mountain.

It is also reportedly now an option for those looking to board rides at DCA, including Radiator Springs Racers, the Incredicoaster and Grizzly River Run."

It’s back for everything that has had it in the past: Space Mountain, Star Tours, Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, Millenium Falcon, Splash Mountain, Incredicoaster, Radiator Springs Racers, Grizzly River Run, and Goofy’s Sky School.

Which ones have you used? How good are each of them?
I used:
RSR- 15 minute wait when 45 posted for regular. Makes sense considering the single rider line is very well marked next to the regular line and RSR has the longest waits on average.
Space- ~3 minute wait both times, posted was around 45 each time. The single rider line is VERY poorly marked. It's at the EXIT, not the entrance, and there's only a tiny little sign. So no one knows about it/uses it.
Matterhorn- 3 minute wait, was 20 posted
MFSR- literally walk on with the party they were loading, 35 minutes posted

Can anyone confirm that the SM single rider line is still operating? My DD and I are going out next weekend, but I have work conferences all morning so she is heading out on her own and wanted to use the SR lines when possible.

Like many of the SR lines, it’s hit-or-miss. They don’t always have it going.

At the end of July it was always running but in the middle of the day it was pretty long

My husband and I have used single rider lines frequently recently since we go with our 2 year old and have to take turns riding things. We have found the SR lines to be really hit or miss.
For our last couple trips in September this was our experience:
- Indiana Jones: SR line was closed when we asked about it
- Space: tried two times and was really unlucky. The first time there were probably about 10-12 or so people in front of me and the line moved sooo slowly. Ended up waiting longer than the posted wait was. The second time I tried this line (different trip), there were about 20 people ahead of me and I ended up bailing after a few minutes since the line didn’t move at all.
- Radiator Springs: we rode this lots of times on different days and walked right on the ride each time. The only time we had an issue was when my husband tried to ride right after me one time, but they closed the SR line due to “lack of staff”
- Smugglers Run: we rode this one a lot too and always walked right on. Just be aware you will most likely get engineer each time. My husband was lucky one time that the group he was with didn’t want to be the pilot so he got to do that position.
- Splash: Did this one several times and always got right on
-Matterhorn: My husband and I had very different experiences with this one. I chose a bad time to go when the SR line was pretty long. They split the line up into two sides and the side I was on moved super slowly but I was watching the other side and the staff member on that side was loading SR much faster. I ended up waiting just as long or longer than the regular line. My husband went a different time and had much better luck, getting on the ride in probably around 5 minutes.

I've also found that the Single Rider at Matterhorn was really hit-or-miss. My friends ended up trying it and it took about 30 minutes (posted ride wait time was 45 minutes). So in the end, it might have saved them a bit of time, but probably not a lot. I did a day later and waited about 5 minutes. So it's really hit-or-miss. Indy was also closed when I asked in mid-September. Space was running, as was Smugglers Run and Incredicoaster. I didn't try any of the others.

It also depends on the actually attendance if they will have single rider at any particular time/day. If Incredicoaster wait is 10 minutes, they may not do single rider even if Racers has Single Rider. Pre-pandemic, I had been to Smugglers Run when they said single rider was full and directed people to the regular line.

Space mountain is probably the worst. I was one of two people in line a few weeks back still took over 5 minutes as the CM loading wasn’t pulling from the single rider line.

Yeah that one is only good if there aren’t very many people in the SR line. It takes forever when it’s backed up in the hallway

I was there on Sunday on a solo trip and used the single rider for Matterhorn, Star Tours, Incredicoaster, Racers and Space Mountain. I also walked past Guardians of the Galaxy at the exact moment they reopened it for the Halloween thing and walked right on. The Halloween version was great.

The Single Rider Line at Space Mountain is 100% reliant on the Cast Members at grouping. If you have a good Cast Member the line will move incredibly fast, a bad Cast Member will completely ignore Single Riders.

Next time you are stuck in the Single Rider line in the hallway and notice that nobody has moved, politely alert a Cast Member you see walking by. You will be surprised how fast the line will move after you alert them.

This happened to us. There were maybe 10 people waiting but it didn't move. I gave up after 20 minutes. The cast member was letting empty seats in cars and not pulling from single rider.

That ride has such a fast dispatch time that if the CM can't play Tetris well they don't end up correctly filling the car.
