Single Rider Line Rides

When I went on as a single rider for Test Track in August 2005, it was joke. The Cast Member over heard me saying I was going to get a Fast Pass, then said I would walk right on as a single rider. So I took their advice & went in line, which was a mistake. The sigle rider line looked just as long as the stand by line which at the time was at 45 or 50 minutes. Because I did not want to have my Dad waiting forever for me thinking I would go right on the ride I got out of line, got a Fast Pass & when I went back to use it I walked right into the briefing room area where they show us what will happen on the ride, then waited about 5 minutes to get into the Test Track car.

Maybe someone else had a different experience then me, but just sharing my views on how things went for me.

Wow, same here! I'd done single rider on M:S earlier (when they had it) and walked right on, and saw a single rider line for TT so jumped in that too. I waited longer in the single rider line at TT than the standby people were in line (which I believe was an hour). FP was a half hour out, I should have hopped out and grabbed one of them, gone and domne M:S a few more times, and come back.

To the best of my knowledge only Test Track and Everest have Single Rider lines. Mission Space stopped when they changed to Green or Orange.

We've had great success using SR lines. :)

What do you mean by green or orange?

Mission: Space offers two "versions" of the ride.
Guests can choose the:
"Orange Team" side which is the traditional full intensity centrifuge attraction.
or
"Green Team" side which is the new less intense non-centrifuge experience.

Orange for me all the way! Love that ride! :cool1:

Same here!

Look straight ahead, don't close your eyes, and push the right button when Lieutenant Dan tells you to! :thumbsup2

It's good to see that I am not alone in thinking that the single rider lines for Test Track are not the greatest.

I've only used the singly rider when M:S had it before the new version and walked right on, never waited in line for a second. I've never used it (because my entire family doesn't ABANDON me on it!!!!) but I know that Test Track has one. I loved the single rider the one time that I used it because I didn't have to wait at all but know that if you're planning on using it, the wait time is as unpredictable as the weather. For example: Mission: SPACE has 4 people per 'car' (I know they aren't cars but that's what I'm going to call them). If you get a bunch of even numbered groups, you will be waiting forever. If you get a lot of consecutive odd numbers, the wait will be minimal, if any, so it really is very unpredictable and luck is really involved.
