Single parents with last child heading off to college (Empty nest support group)

I'm joining a bit late, but here I am. I've been a single Mom for 16 years (and actually well before that since my ex's work took him far from home for long stretches of time doing railroad track maintenance) and my baby will be graduating from college in May this year . I can't believe how quickly the years have flown, but I have to say it is nice now to be able to plan some things for just myself. However, that said, I must also say I am looking forward to making plans with grandchildren that I hope my sons will give me some day. And, of course, you all know where I will want to take them, right?
