Most of the clubs I go to are rock clubs with live bands, but every once & a while someone rooks me into going to a dance club or trendy bar *shudder*
Now, every other dance club seems to have a bathroom attendant. We're not talking about elegant bathrooms either, "dicey" is the word that comes to mind. You can count on at least one stall missing a door & I'm sure you can guess how they smell.
I'd understand the need for an attendant if I were at a black tie event, but most of the time these places serve drinks in plastic cups. I just give them a smile & nod, wash my hands, dry them & leave. Someone told me I was wrong for doing that. I didn't use any of his products & usually grab a towel for myself (I'm a germaphobe when it comes to the restroom). There's been a few times were they'll even brush off my shoulders & back with a towel as if I'd just walked through a saw mill. I tip if I use his cologne, mouthwash, etc, but I rarely use theirs. I realize they stock the bathroom, but do they really need an attendant?
I save my money for the bartender (being one myself) because they really have the toughest (though most rewarding) job in the place.
