Since we're on the topic of Upgrades....Anyone get a free upgrade at CR from Garden..

to Tower??? I am still debating whether to pay the extra for this or to just take my chances and see what happens. Has anyone actually recieved a complimentary upgrade from a garden room to a tower??? Thanks!!!

A friend of mine did in September 2003. She didn't even ask for the upgrade. It was already in the system when they checked in. I have heard those upgrades are fairly rare, though, and the resorts are at a higher occupancy rate now. I really wanted a tower room when we went in May 2004, so I booked that even though it was more expensive.

I did not get a tower room but I did not care. I have been upgraded each time to a garden wing, I like the area by the pool or playground nearest the main building. Even if your preference is the tower, wait until you get there to see what happens and if not for free, then at that time pay for the upgrade if you really want it. Have fun, and if you can not see the fireworks from the hotel, just go into the entrance and you can see just fine.

Just got one last Friday, what a surprise, and they upgraded us to 12th floor concierge.

It was wonderful, I have stayed in the garden wings before, very nice, but always wanted to stay in the tower. Now we did, and no extra charge, cant beat that Pixie Dust.

We received one on our first stay at the CR. It was such an awesome surprise. We didn't ask for it. We enjoyed the tower so much, the next trip we booked tower. We have had lagoon view each time and really enjoy that. You can watch the water parade from your room in your PJs my ds and dd love that!

We have received free upgrades to the Tower twice! I guess we are just lucky. The first time we got a MK view, and the second a Bay Lake view.
