How about a belated trick today?

Check it out.

This works for everyone (in the US); I guarantee it. Give it a try. (not sure about Non-US phone numbers, so friends north of the border and across the pond, let me know if it does ok?)

You'll need a calculator. ready???

1. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code)
2. multiply by 80
3. add 1
4. multiply by 250
5. add the last four digits of your phone number to total so far
6. add the last four digits of your phone number to total again
7. subtract 250
8. divide by 2

Recognize the number in the answer?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

can you tell i am a little bored today with no costumes to buy anymore? lol ;)

Sorry does not work for me my last 4 digets are 0099. Calculater will not count the first 2 00. How sad. :(

yep, my parents is 0132 and it works with just the 132 showing. oh and i know it says enter last 4 digits (they may not al necessarily show at that moment with the zeros lol), so even if you had hit 0099 and kept going, holly is right, still would have worked. ;)

Spooky!
:earseek:
(have a great day Dude, thanx for the treats :) )

uh never mind, I did it wrong the first several times. I see it now.

Wow, I work for a giant telephone company and I have never seen this before.

Guess what I'll be sharing in my meetings this afternoon?

Thanks Mike

WOW!!!!!! lol Very neat trick. I have never heard of that one before. The first time, it did not work for me. lol I wasn't adding or multiplying right, lol. I am horrible with math questions, lol :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That is really cool! I was very suprised to see this work out.

Oh my god, it took a while to see it as it has an extra 0 in the middle! :faint:

Btw, I'm from England. :)

That is neat! I love interesting, random, and other things not relevant, which you have posted previously in other threads LOL. :rotfl2:

Oooooh, cool. :cool1: How do people figure out stuff like that? (I hate math). It's amazing, I tell ya. :teeth:
