Not really disability but how much does it cost if you have your resort do some laundry for you? I'll be on vacation and don't want to do it nor do I want to pack for 11 days. Karen

It is very expensive. They charge by the piece, including underwear. And I think prices start at about $1.50.

There are coin laundries at each Resort. When I used to travel for nine days at a time, we would take a few hour break one day in the middle to do the laundry.

A good idea if you are planning to do laundry during your stay is to bring detergent and dryer sheets from home. That way you will be sure to have the brand you prefer and enough of it. You can use plastic food containers and/or zip-lock bags to hold powdered detergent in single use portions. Also available are the very convenient detergent tablets. I recall it costing 4 dollars a load ( 2 to wash and 2 to dry).
I found a old post ( from 2008) in which a person said that they had used the laundry service and for 2 adults it was 120 dollars for a weeks worth of clothing.

We used those Purex 3 in 1 sheets the last time we went and they worked great. They worked so well that we bought more for the next trip. If you look carefully in the travel size section of Walmart or Target you can sometimes find them there. There are 2 of the sheets in each package.

I might have to try those on out next trip.:laundy:

Laundry is one of those things we fit in while at the pool, since the laundry room is right there (POR/POFQ). Put the wash in, get a drink and hang around the pool. Repeat for dryer. Cost for each is $2 in quarters. If the change machine is out, lobby personnel can give you change.

Thanks, you just answered my other question. Whether to bring bills or a roll of quarters. :thumbsup2 Karen
