As I am trying to figure out this DDP thing for my first trip using the plan, I was struck by the similarities of figuring out the best use of the various Snack, QS, and TS credits with how I obsessed over the different usages of my DVC points when I first became a member!! Lol! 
Anyone else see the similarity?
I still try to make the best use of our DVC points but ever since I got addonistis and added on enough points, I am more likely to blow some points for weekends or for an expensive last minute trip without beating myself over it. (O'kay, only a little.)
Analyzing the use of meal credits, brings me back to my first few years analyzing DVC points. Ahhh, the memories...
I must admit though, the meal credits are a bit more complicated to use than DVC points. I bet once I have it all figured out, Disney will change all the rules on me for our next trip! At least DVC won't be able to do that. (Although they can add additional factors to my decision making such as new resorts.)
