Hi All

Does anyone know is it possible to buy a USA sim only for an iPad to be used while on holiday. I wondered if I bought one in advance put cash on it then I could use until it run out like the one I get from giff gaff here in UK. Or is this a stupid question.

We tend to look out for the free Wi-Fi for the iPad connectivity. Not purchased sims and tend to only text from the mobiles. If you get a good WiFi connection you can Skype or FaceTime. I,m sure I have heard of people just buying Sims on other posts but not sure where from.

Yes, you can buy a SIM card for your iPad to use in the US. Just do a Google search; you'll find many options.

You might want to just stick with using free wi-fi; there are many places offering this, including Starbucks, which are everywhere.

I'm looking at getting a US sim card for heading out, would like to use data on the go and obviously call back to the UK. I've been looking at mrsimcard and UK2Abroad, just wondering if anyone has dealt with either company?
