Any ideas on how to do this? DD wants a Silvermist birthday party, not Tinkerbell. I explained that Tinkerbell and all other fairies will be included but Mommy will try to have Silvermist be the center. I have bought the Silvermist costume online with wings (Cost a lot but will use it for b-day, MNSSHP, and Halloween), I will do blue and silver plates, cups, balloons, etc, and I have some goody bag treats already with all of the fairies. ANy other budget tips? Any ideas on a cake? (I always make her cakes).
Thanks in advance.
Suzy

Can you just get some small figures for the cake? I do that when my girls ask for special cakes. I love that idea, my DD9 is already asking for a Fawn cake. LOL

That is a good idea. I know that Silvermist is in the sets with all the fairies and that may just work for the cake. I also thought about buying some fairy wings for all the guests to wear as part of the goody bag. Maybe they could play dress up at the start of the party. I think I have seen those wings at Dollar General for about $1.00 each. Thankis for sharing your ideas.:wizard:

My dd had a fairy party one yr. You could make flower halos for the girls using curling ribbon and that stiffer star ribbon. I bought $1 wings at Target. You can make wands from pipe cleaners & construction paper stars. Or rice crispy wands. You could have the girls figure out which kind of fairy they want to be - water, etc. There is that website from disney, I am drawing a blank! Good luck!

If you now how to decorate cakes, at least outlines and fill in with stars, Find a coloring book picture of Silvermist and trace it on to wax paper with non toxic puffy paint. Let the paint dry for at least 24 hours, the gently press the image, raised side down onto the smoothed out and slighted crusted cake top. It will leave an indent in the frosting that you can then outline and fill in with colored frosting. I've done this for the mystery machine, a pteradactyl, cookie monster, and some other stuff. It works great.

They do make a silvermist all by herself in the toy dept. She would be cute on a cake. You could make a tinkerbell cake but instead of tink as the main character, you could place silvermist in her place.

My DD wanted a Fairies party for her 9th birthday in January. We made snowglobes as party favors for all the little girls. We bought a package of all the fairies and saved up glass jars. We glued the figurine to the lid and added water and pixie dust (glitter) to the jar. They turned out great! Very cute and a great favor - easy and budget friendly! Have a great party!

We also set a pinch of pixie dust with each of our invitations.
