It is close to AK but, you should keep in mind that the Disney bus system only runs for about an hour after that park closes. Also, I'd find out what the shuttle schedule from Silver is, and what it costs... sometimes you can pick up a rental car for what it will cost you to travel from the airport to the resort and back and if they charge for the park shuttle. When we were staying at Vistana Villages, there were only 2 shuttles to 2 theme parks, you HAD to use Disney Transportation after that and these only left and returned at odd times, after the park had already opened and before it closed, also, you'll loose alot of time transferring. I am not so sure the shuttels are that efficient, considering the time and cost.
