Ok so we got our 5 day PHP from Hotwire and ordered 3 adult (my dd is now 10 ) and 1 child for my DS well its a Minnie Mouse one and he is having a fit that he doesn't want a girl ticket.. can he trade with one of the adult ones or will we have finger scans on those ? thanks for your help .. Michelle

finger scans are only for annual passes.

you could switch passes but a cm would probably notice an adult trying to get thru with a child ticket.

You do not need a finger scan for the PHP. You may have trouble getting through the turnstiles if one of the adults uses a childs tickets. I would just go to guest services, I am sure if you go to Guest Services at one of the parks they would be more than happy to give him a different card.

But they probably wouldn't notice a ten year old. If the cm questions it, just explain that DS didn't want to be Minnie and traded with Big Sis. I'm sure they won't mind as long as the two kids are always entering and leaving the parks at the same time.

Ciao,
Mort.

I was thinking he could trade with My DD ... Thanks Michelle

Trading with sis is the best option. We check to see that the number of children/adults matches the number of child/adult tickets.
If you were to go to Guest Relations and have the ticket reissued, there's no guarantee that he wouldn't get minnie again... the ticket stock is generated randomly and there's no way for the CM to tell who's going to be on the back of the next ticket. Also, if your tickets were mailed to you and are the plastic kind that come adhered to a letter-sized reciept, the reissued ticket will be on paper stock (nothing horrible about that, but it bothers some folks.)

Thanks Safari Steve.. I have paper issue ones now - and if its not a big deal we will just swap around tickets.. ( funny the 5 day PHP's i have a paper issue ones and the MNSSHP ones are hard plastic ? )

Oops! Sorry, Michelle, I hadn't looked at your screenname. I meant your DS's big sister, not you. :jester:

Kungaloosh!

When we got AP's a couple of years ago, we didn't pay any attention to what was on them until we went to enter the park. Both DH and DS had Minnie. We told DS since it had his name on it, he had to use it, or they wouldn't let him in! He stopped complaining after that.

Take him to a character meal with Minnie! My son was convinced that Minnie was in love with him. You can see it in the pictures. This may help your DS to see the bright side. He always has his "girlfriends" picture with him.

It doesn't matter which person uses which ticket--as long as you're all going in at the same time. As long as my boys get to feed it into the machine themselves, they don't care which character they have.
