...but this is our first time staying at the BWV. Is there a separate place to check in, or do you check in in the lobby of the BWI? TIA!

When you walk into BWV, the lobby is right there. You will see the check-in counter and a CM is there to help direct you.

There is only one check in desk for both hotel guests and DVC guests.
