Silly question for those of you who are dieting or have lost a good deal of weight.

LOL! Thanks everyone, and NO I don't need any extra on that right side...LOL!

Jason, thank you, I feel a bit more sexy on the right side...LOL!

Kallison, I can totally see the tag fairy finding this thread. I'm seeing, whopsided somewhere in my tag.

Now how am I doing it??

Diet Center! I weigh in twice a week and am measured once every 3 weeks. Its almost time for me to be measured again but as on last time I had lost 48 inches. I am LOVEING this diet. You can eat plenty, I am NEVER hungry, its mostly just eating all kinds of healthy alternatives on the food chain. I eat alot of cabbage, baked potatos, chicken, baked fish, salad, broccoli, cereal, grapes etc. There is just so so much you can choose from.

Its a wonderful diet because your director looks at YOUR body measurments and your metabolic rate and basis what you need to include the most in your diet based on what will work for your body. For example, I have a friend on the diet who is told to eat Apples, Oranges and Grapefruit. Me, on the other hand, I eat strawberries, grapes and blueberries and sweet potatos....weird, huh??

Another wonderful thing is the Diet Center desserts. They have Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cheesecake, Strawberry Cheesecake and Blueberry Cheesecake. All of these have only 1 fat gram and 60 calories and take only 1 dairy and 1 fruit and 1 fat. They are delicious so that answers to my sweet cravings.

As far as excersise goes I try to walk at least 1 mile per day and I have a excersise bike in my living room that I try to ride 5 miles per day. Both take approx. 20 minutes each. I ride the bike in the morning (or walk) and then walk in the evening.

Oh and the supplements. You take supplements 4 times per day. They are NOT dangerous, took them to my Dr. to make sure and they actually HELP to stabalize your blood sugar.

Anyway I recommend it to anyone who, like me, can't do it by themselves. I never ever would or could have lost anything without having someone like my director to help me along the way and tell me what I'm doing wrong so that I can learn this new lifestyle.

That is great! You deserve to be really proud of yourself!

that's a great diet!
I'm all for "healthy eating" rather then "carb cutting"...I nearly passed out at the gym while on South Beach during the first week. (It may work for some - but it was murder on my body.)

and the best part of that diet - you are setting yourself up for a healthy way of eating for the rest of your life - so it won't FEEL like a diet!

Congratulations again!

Congrats on the weightloss, Beth.:) I don't know why your right side is smaller. Maybe it just seems smaller, or are you measuring significantly smaller when you go in for your weigh-in/measure-in?

Beauty....I owe you an apology...i meant to reply to this yesterday....

let me add my CONGRATULATIONS!! ...on the weight loss...

as far as one side being disproportionate to the other....so?
..you're still a great kid...

I always find your posts fun and interesting.... :) :) .... and fun and interesting is proportionate :) :)
