Silly question about square footage in cabins.

When Disney lists the sq. footage of their cabins, are they including the verandah for Categories 1 -7?

Yes, they're including the verandah in the total square footage of the cabin.

Statesrooms in Category 5-10 actually have the same inside square footage.

Even Cat 12 and 11 are basically the same size room as the Cat 10 to 5. It's just their enty hallway is just shorter because they don't have the split baths (and lack the storage space of the upper catagories).
