Silly Question about Haunted Mansion and other rides?

Has anyone ever rode the Haunted Mansion and NOT got off when they were supposed to and just stayed on and rode around again? Do you get in trouble when doing this? Does anyone even notice? Have you ever done this with any other rides? If so what?

I was thinking about doing this, and I wanted to know which rides I could do this on. And Im not talking about when the park is empty and they let you go on again without getting off. Im talking about when the park is moderatly full and you just stayed on and kept going without getting off. How was it? :stir:

I haven't been to wdw in a very long time, but if I remember right, there is always a cast member right there to let you out.

the only rides I can think of where you can do this:

Tomorrowland Transit Authority
the Monorails (beyond of course exchanges at the TTC)
the WDW Railroad

However, we've been to the parks on slow days and have ridden a few rides in the way you are suggesting:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had NOBODY in line when we would have had to disembark. The CM allowed anyone who wanted to disembark to do so and then the rest of us on the train went again...!

Depending on the demand, you may also be able to stay on the Riverboat as well...

I also vaguely remember doing this once each on Buzz Lightyear (again, there was no one in line at that time...probably during a parade)...and on El Rio Del Tiempo (they also let us bring our margaritas on the boat, which one might have thought would have been a no-no).

Well I don't see why it would be a problem. But when the parks are full and there is a line? No way, you need to get out and wait in line again. And yes, there is a CM right there to make sure you DO get off the ride.

I've stayed on IASW, TTA, and COP for sure. I may have stayed on PPF, Snow White, and Pirates but I can't be positive.

When the rides are slow, we've been able to ask the CM (occasionally, they've asked us) and done this for several different rides.

When there are lines, you have to get off and back in line. It's only fair to those waiting.

The only time we were allowed to do this was on our honeymoon, we were wearing our wedding ears and the CMs on Primeval Whirl allowed us to stay on for a second ride.

My DD8 and I did this last year on HM and it was awesome! There was absolutely NO line and no one waiting and we asked permission to stay on. It was really cool to stay on and keep riding :thumbsup2 We also did it on Winnie the Pooh, Snow White and Peter Pan... asked at all of them and there was no one waiting :)

We were also allowed to stay on Primevil whirl, but thought it was because the 4 of us were so smashed in together that they didn't think they could get us out. :goodvibes God bless the DDP!

Nope, I don't think you stayed on Pirates, at least not at WDW, because doesn't the boat go through a low opening after people get off? Unless you had to lie down on the seat :rotfl:

::yes::
It goes thru an opening just barely big enough for the boat to fit thru. No way you could stay on Pirates.
Also, the CM stops that ride so you can get off, so you could not just stay on as the moving walkway goes past.

When there's no line CMs usually don't mind if you stay on.

While I worked at Splash we let Guests stay on if there was no wait. One group rode Splash like 4 times in a row or something like that.

If I would go play in the parks I could usually ride Splash twice if I wanted to. I also go to ride Thunder a few times in a row without getting off.

I just got back from WDW, my brother, his dd (7) and myself got to stay on Kali River Rapids in Ak for 3 rides. After which, I believe the only way were getting more wet was to change clothes and ride again. We also rode TTA a 2nd time, with out getting off (and was I ever happy, I really needed that down time :happytv: ).

Several times we have done Splash and BTMRR 3 to 4 times in a row without exiting. In fact at BTMRR we were given a choice of changing seats and then getting back on to the same train.

I have also rode TTA and Jungle Cruise several times in a row.

Did TOT and RnR but had to exit, but both were walk on with no lines and we flew thru the ques right back on the ride by ourselves.

That may have been my friend and I. We rode Splash Mountain about 4 times in a row last time we went. It seems like nobody wants to ride it in the winter because it's cold. Luckily, I have a jacket that dries super-fast, so we just continued to ride until we couldn't stand the zippity-doo-dah bit any longer.

I'm pretty sure the Doom Buggies go through a little room that's staffed before they return to the entrance. It's where they remove Buggies that need to be cleaned and stuff.
