Silly question about add-ons

I think this is a silly question, but I've also assumed things before which were incorrect, so I guess I should ask the DVC dis-experts.
If I buy a contract through resale at say, AKV, I can do an add-on at that resort also through Disney if I really wanted to, right?

Yes at that resort or any other DVC resort. Although you may possibly be waitlisted for a short while until Disney acquires the points you want.

Currently add-ons at all resorts are a 25 point minimum purchase. On
Jan 15 add-on minimum for BLT ONLY will increase to 100 point minimum purchase.

Note : If you want Disney's financing for your add-on purchase then Disney will require that you purchase a minimum of 50 points for your add-on.
