Silly Question #1 - Is the round tub worth an addtional $500 for a 7 night cruise??

Just two of us. Thought it might be fun to have the round tub and the option of the Murphy bed and a little extra space but it comes out to $510 extra. Is the round tub really cool???? I realize it's personal preference . . .

No. No real use for a murphy bed if there are just two of you, because the murphy bed is not really any different than the couch bed except that it blocks the verandah so you are better off just using the couch anyway. And the tub is child size, an adult cannot use it as a tub (it's a nice shower, but not $500 nice).

Agreed. You will probably not be lounging in that tiny thing. Go up to the hot-tubs. As for the Murphy bed I've never even opened any other bed options other than the main bed. It is nice knowing if you need it, the sofa is there, but those bunk beds are rather small for a on the tall side adult. Useable, but not my first choice. The main bed is so comfy I'm voting to sleep there!

For us yes, but DH is on the taller side and likes the shower better. We would pay that for a week but not on a shorter cruise.

Not for us; both are too small for an actual bath anyway and we fit in either as a shower just fine.

The rain shower head is very nice. But personally wouldn’t pay an extra $510 for it. Although the current situation with the fitness center showers not available could somewhat alter that equation.

The family stateroom is significantly roomier, and the rainfall shower is nicer. If you're leaning towards that and have already spent thousands on the cruise, then yes, imo $500 more is worth it for a 7-night cruise.

If the cruise is already a financial stretch for you, then no.
