What cute, silly or odd nicknames do you call your SO or DC?

Let's hear those sickingly sweet or embarrassingly goofy terms of endearment that only your family hears. We won't tell a soul here on the Disboards!

I used to call my ex Lionel or Tennessee. Lionel, because his parents are George and Louise. Tennessee, because whenever he'd say or do something stupid, I'd do an awesome imitation of Chumley from Tennessee Tuxedo saying, "Dah, gee, Tennethee..."

So of course he always called me Jenny or Chumley in return.

I wish I could tell you but I just can't :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I call DW "Sweetie" about 90% of the time
We started calling DD9 "Foppy" or "FoppyDoodle" back when she was a baby
We call DS6 "Dude" a lot

That's how you know you "belong" around our house -you are assigned a nickname.

Why don't you start us out? :lmao:

DH has a rather long list of names he calls me. Sassy, Spider Monkey, Saucy, it goes on and on.

For about a week now he's been calling me Swarley. We watched How I Met Your Mother and they were calling one of the characters that. DH thinks it's funny.

We used to call DS "little" but now that he's 12, it doesn't seem right. He's usually "dude" or "buddy" now, though sometimes it is still "little dude" or "little buddy".

DD, well we call her "meat" short for "meatball". She's an excellent eater, always has been. We were listening to Meatloaf and the nickname just sorta happened. She's also KatieBug and little missy or even little red on account of her hair color, at times.

Ok, you asked. Last couple of years I've been calling DH pooperscooper every so often. It started when a company called Poopiescooper advertised on the radio. Some of their slogans were, "We're #1 in the #2 business" & "We collect feces from all different species", among others that I can't remember. They were kind of clever and really hilarious. We'd always get a laugh when we heard or saw their advertising. So somehow, pooperscooper came out of that.

Aren't you glad you asked?

Long, long before it was a mainstream word, I called DH Peep. Sometimes I call him doodlebug or poppet.

My boyfriend has a million nicknames for me. The ones I get called the most are linadoo and linypie. There's also linlin, friggles, lin, piegirl, doodoo (I hate that one :rotfl: ), doodles, etc.

I call him Steve or Steveadoo. I'm not very creative. ;)

DH's name is Kevin, started calling him Kevie, then Heavy cause it rhymed. So lots of times it's Heavy Kevie.

He calls me all sorts of strange stuff with no apparent meanings attached. Louie & Louis to name a few.
But mostly he calls me Lovie  :cloud9:

I've been calling DS "Pickle" for the last several months. I really don't even know how it started. :confused3

I have always called DH honey, baby, babe, sweetie or something like that. Last year I made up a new name for him. Sweet Face. He hates it! I named him that because I had surgery and was terrfied about being put to sleep. When I woke up from surgery, the first face I remember seeing was his and it felt sweet. Thus, the name Sweet Face. :lovestruc He hates it though, so I only use it when I'm trying to annoy him. :teeth:

DH has always been my ****oo and I'm his baby but he also call me Princess.

Lately though, DH loves to clean, he always has. He cleans inside, outside anywhere really. He was cleaning at the school the other day when we were there for a game. So I've nicknamed him Hazel! He rolls his eyes at me but it has stuck, now our son and even his parent and my mom call him Hazel.

DS when he was little was Pumpkin, now that he's a teenager he's Goober.

Well, you know, it's mostly the "usual" stuff (sweetie) but he's also Goofy and I'm Minnie.

Lately though, we've had lots of fun with the ones from Monsters, Inc. Shmoopsie-poo and Googly Bear :teeth:

Many moons ago, my dad called me "snookie" as a kid...it was shortened to "snook" during my teenage years... actually, to the present (sheesh).
The most embarrassing usage of this nickname was when Dad stormed into my very first job during lunch rush to tell me "Hey snook--you forgot your bottle of water for your lunch--I'll just leave it on the counter, mmmkay--have a good day, your mom and I are proud of your new job"

Talk about wanted to crawl under a rock-- :rotfl: It was 16 or so years ago and it is still fresh in my mind :bitelip:

My DFi calls me Booty or Boo Boo.

I call him Booty also and baby.

My mom used to call me Babykins or cuddlebug.
