Silk Flowers

All,

I am looking at silk flowers for my wedding.
I have passed out in the past due to strong smells and heat and do not want to chance it on my wedding day.

I have been looking at ebay at their wedding flower packages.
Has anyone gotten their flowers off ebay? If so, were you pleased?

i got mine direct with disney and they were great, so real looking and even felt real to me

I actually just ordered a bouquet from ebay! I just ordered a toss bouquet though, just to see how it looks and make sure the colors match, and if everything looks good I will order the whole package... she quoted me $370 for everything, including my bouquet, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, toss bouquet, flower girl kissing ball, all the boutinnears and corsages, and a centerpiece for the head table.

Oddly enough, as I'm typing this my mom just texted me and said it just came in! I will post a pic of it tonight when I get home from work for you to see.

I bought. My silk from a local craft store and made my own. They came out great!

Sharon, I love my toss bouquet!! Exactly what I wanted, bright pink, light pink and white, roses, gerbera daisys, calla lillies, and stephanotis!

Here's some pics I just took (I don't have the best camera):

I think they turned out great! The roses have a watered look to them, which I think makes them look real. I'm very happy with them. And the price can't be beat!

She quoted me $368.70 (includes shipping and insurance) for the bridal bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 toss bouquet, 1 kissing ball for flower girl, 11 boutonnieres, 7 corsages, and 1 low floral arrangement centerpiece for the head table. I don't know if you've started looking into prices yet, but that's just unbeatable! I'm so excited with it, I e-mailed her to order the rest of my package!

I couldn't tell you for sure because I've only looked into silk, but if you're having a wedding at Disney World I'd say bringing your own silk flowers would be MUCH cheaper than buying bridesmaid bouquets from Disney's florist.

I purchased mine on EBAY and they are awesome - don't have any pictures sorry -I'm in the process of moving but the seller is heatherofeather.

She has a website also besides her ebay auctions - I found her auctions to make it very inexpensive and they look very real I was amazed when I opened the box and I ordered 5 bouquets and I asked her to make matching boutineres (?sp) and her prices were extremely fair and reasonable for flowers that looked real and not like silk she has great quality!
