I will be at the Expo for next month's Wine and Dine half :cool1:. I am now pretty sure I will be doing the Princess Half in February. Are there any advantages to doing so at the Expo as opposed to online?

Thanks! :goodvibes

At the Disneyland Expo, they were offering a small discount to register for the Marathon Weekend events, but that was not the case when we registered for the Disneyland while we were at the Princess Expo... We did, however, receive a snazzy 1 shoulder bag for registering for the coast to coast at the time.

So the short answer is... sometimes...

I signed up for the TOT at the Princess Expo and received a large Run Disney shopping bag. (same type as the bags they sell at the Disney Store, but bigger and had a running Mickey on it)

When I was at the TOT expo I asked if I had signed up for the Princess then if there were any goodies and I was told they were waiving the extra handling fee. I had already signed up for the Princess, so I was happy it wasn't something good.

It is better to register at a non-Disney Expo because the deals are always much better. For example, runDisney was at the Chicago RNR and was offering any of the current races available (at that time, it was Marathon Weekend and Wine & Dine) at the introductory prices (prices had already gone up a tier or two) and with no Active fees, which was nice. They gave shoulder bags as well, but I opted out of that. I have one for the Princess and I don't need anymore bags. I have plenty since nearly every race has them now! :) These days, they tend to offer registration with one of the shoulder bags at the Disney Expo's and it is hit or miss if they waive active fees. The one thing they did was release extra spots to sold out races - Disneyland for example had spots opened up for those at the Princess Expo.
